Our plate type heat exchangers can be used for all types of applications where large and small volumes of gas at pressures below 0.5 barg need to be cooled or preheated in a large temperature range up to 900°C / 1650°F
Materials
Any type of steel plate can be used in a wide range of thicknesses in order to accomodate the required resistance against temperature, corrosion and pressure.
Coating of the heat transfer area is required to operate below the Acid Dew Point.
Coated Solutions
Ecoonex has solutions to coat heat transfer plates and tubes for air preheaters, but also tubes for economizers with raw gas on the outside of the tube and water or oil inside the tube.
The heat exchangers can be combined with different materials or solutions. Hot part can be made of stainless steel plates where tthe cold part could be with coated tubes or plates.
Operating Below the Acid Dew Point
In order to have more efficient solutions, the cold end solution could be with glass coated plates, or glass coated tubes. Additionally we have solutions to design with Polymer tubes.
